Caleb's 1st Birthday/ Eviction

Caleb's official 1st birthday isn't until August 8th but we decided to move the festivities up a bit since things have been a bit upredictable with our pregnancy lately. My sister Tina, cousin Laura, Aunt Patsy, Mother-in-law and Mom all pitched in to make the party a wonderful celebration day for our BIG BOY Caleb. I can hardly believe that he is one already!

Mommy made these cute name tags for me and all my friends.

All of my friends got bubbles (my favorite!)...

... and a very special bag of treats just for us little people!

This budding artist loved drawing on the "tablecloths" and dunking the crayons in the water table.

Aunt Charla, Great Grandma Colleen and Mama found a spot in the shade to watch the kiddos play.

Yes, even the adults played in the water and got temporary tattoos.

It was hard to pull Caleb and the girls away from the water table. We had to change Caleb's outfit afterwards because he was soaked!

Even Caleb's friend Allie enjoyed the water.

Nadia enjoyed time with her dad after spending time in the bounce house.

Caleb's play date buddy, Reagan, came to celebrate too!

Caleb loved all of the colorful balls in the bounce house. (And NO, we did not allow Chris anywhere near this thing.)

Emmagrace and our neighbor Nicole checked it out too.

This was the moment Caleb had been waiting for....

He examined it closely and very delicately touche the frosting...

... Then it got a little messy.

I think opting to take his shirt off was good thinkin.

Can you tell what color cupcake Ciella ate? Hmmmmm.....

No self-respecting Indiana party is complete without Corn Hole!

Caleb loves his Grammy.

Ciella loves her BIG cousin Nick (no really, he's huge and he's only 13).

Caleb poses with his big cousins, Emmagrace and Maddison.

Caleb had fun opening his gifts.... well, he enjoyed the tissue paper.

He especially loved the Backyardigans guitar that Libby and Esther got him. Thank goodness it has a volume knob!

Whoo wee. All that partying makes me pooped. This "big boy" take time out for a baba.

Man, Tish! You throw one heck-uv-a party! So sad we missed the celebration. Hard to believe you've been doing this mommy stuff for a year now! You're darn good at it, that's for sure. Love ya!
